As soon as Cushy went out for testing, my girlie decided to grow out of all of her woolies. The only ones that fit her were the new Cushy shorties and one Adaptation soaker that I had just made. Longies just will not work in the summer, and so I had to start knitting fast!
Here's the run-down:
DaisyHead Delight shorties. Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in Williamsburg. Encased elastic waistband. Rolled hem.
Cushy shorties. Hand dyed worsted weight wool. No special leg finish. Just garter stitch all the way down.
Delight shorties. Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in Tulip. Encased elastic waistband. SweetP's ruffle. I just love this ruffle!
That's a lot of knitting! But the timing was perfect. I knitted new shorties while testers started knitting Cushy. I finished the shorties around the time when the testing was finishing. I've been working on revisions and finishing the section of the pattern that walks you through knitting a custom size. Getting sick slowed me down, but I've been back at the computer working. I think Cushy is now finished! I just need to get a few more pics taken, and then comes the last bit of tech editing.
Hopefully, Cushy will be here this week!
