A Week of Crochet Jewelry

The week before Christmas… I've been crafting, of course!

This week has been all about crocheted jewelry. And I have loved every minute of it!

I crocheted a bunch of mandala motifs, each one a different color. I wanted to use them for shop photos. I wanted to make it easy for people to visualize what the Simple Mandala Earrings would look like in each color.

Yes, her shirt is inside out & backwards. Her response? "That's okay."

They had all been crocheted and starched to provide a little stiffness and were just waiting on beads and french hooks. I sat down with my little helper and some tools to finish these beauties up. I think my little Teeny is blossoming into an artist/ designer! She picked out some lovely bead combinations to adorn these mandala earrings!

I made a couple of new Bead'Dazzled bracelet/necklaces as well. I love these two! The pink one has a mix of bead sizes, shapes, and colors. {swoon} The white one has all seed beads but in a variety of bright, shiny colors. I didn't think I would like it very well, but I ended up loving it! I just might keep it for myself. I think it would be perfect to wear to a New Year's Eve shindig. {love}

I also hooked up some bright, cheerful Ultimate Daisies. I adore these!

Some of the Daisies are pins, and some are hair clips. I used my Skittles colorway for the petals, and either chocolate brown, denim blue, or cherry red for the centers. When my 3 girls woke the next morning, they each noticed them at separate times but had the same reaction… a big gasp! They were completely taken with these rainbow flowers!

In fact, Teeny has already claimed one as her own. And paired it with this outfit on an outing to Johnny Carino's. {grin} Yep, she's a Creative!
